Well it’s that time of year again: voting season, or at least for several states in the country. I went and did my civic duty today by standing in line and voting. However, more than that, I spent a good portion of my time yesterday researching candidates and positions and trying to figure out who would be the best person for the job. It was a lot of work, and not always fun, but I felt a lot better about going into the voting booth today knowing who to vote for then guessing or choosing based on how their name sounded.
So I’d like to encourage all you out there today who can vote, to go out and do it. Let your opinion be heard and be a part of this democratic process that so many have fought and died for.
